Greetings

Thanks for checking out my post

We will be staying at the BCV for the first time in October.

I am an early riser and was curious to know if there a place that opens early that sells coffee and danish like the Boardwalk Bakery?

Can you tell me your favorite spot to have your morning coffee?

Also we have stayed at the Boardwalk villas twice and really like it. I feel that the Atmosphere there is calm and relaxing.

Do you feel that the BCV are as relaxing?

I didn't get that feeling when we were in the lobby waiting for dinner at Cape May.

Last Question (for now) (-:
Besides stormalong bay why would my DD 9 and 12 prefer BCV to BWV?

Thankyou for posting your thoughts.

BCMarketplace opens at 7am and has brewed coffee and a nice assortment of pastries. My favorite thing there is a fantastic berry and yogurt parfait. Quiche on croissants are also good.

My favorite place to have my morning tea is on my balcony. But there are also two nice areas within the BCV as well as a lovely room across from Ariel's statue at the entrance to BC. One room is the Solarium, another is the Breezeway and I don't remember the third. There are also a few outside tables right by the Marketplace. You could also go in front of the BC and enjoy your coffee from a rocking chair while you look at the lake.

Ahh, I wish I were there now.

The BC lobby can be busy but BCV is very relaxing, much more so than BW area IMO.

Your children may enjoy renting boats at the YC. Besides SAB, the BCV pool itself is very nice. Large enough and deep enough for fun.

Maybe not a BCV expert, but I am a BCV lover! As for my favorite place for morning beverage, I'm with BCV23-on my balcony. However, lots of people grab their stuff from BC MArketplace and eat/drink in the Solarium. I've stayed at both BCV and BWV, and I find BCV much more relaxing. We don't have young kids, so I don't know which your kids would prefer, but BCV is closer to B&C, which I think is a plus.

I'm sure not a BCV expert either, Simba's Mom!

BTW, by your ticker our next trips won't coincide. I think our last two did!

theres a coffee place over at the yacht club that i believe opens at 6am

If I remember it opens at 7 AM. If you are staying the the Villa's there are coffee makers in the rooms and they provide you with some coffee.

I bring coffee from home and make it in the coffee maker. It's cheaper and tastes better.

Hello all
I just wanted to thank BCV23, Simba's Mom, newholidayx2, and Disneynut71 for taking the time to answer my post.

When I get to the Beach Club and purchase my first cup of coffee I will raise my cup and toast to your health and to your many returns to the Happiest Place on Earth.

I actually found the BCV a bit removed from the hubub and relaxing. Except for just one night when a crowd overtook the quiet pool, LOL!

BTW.... there is, I'm hearing, a 24/7 open cafeteria in the Dolphin Hotel. Haven't tried it, but, if you get the munchies, give it a go !! :thumbsup2
