Does anyone know if there are any reptiles anywhere in Animal Kingdom? My one friend's son is very afraid of them and she asked me for advice. :paw:

I'm not sure, since I haven't been to Animal Kingdom that much. Can someone please please help me / her out? :goodvibes

There are snakes all over Florida, and some have been seen by resort pools, on various paths around the theme parks, etc.

At AK, in the morning there are CMs at the front of the park with containers of smaller creatures - some may be reptiles.

Do alligators count? They have a pile of them on the safari.

There are a few reptiles on display scattered throughout DAK, with a lot of them being housed out at Raffiki's Planet Watch. Several snakes & numerous types of lizards. Here is a species list, along with approx. locations (although I am not sure if it is entirely up to date, or if they no longer keep some of the species I saw during my last visit in 2003): http://www.wdwmagic.com/animal_species.htm

You may also want to alert your friend that the small green anoles (lizards) are found running wild practically everywhere throughout WDW. They are only a few inches long, and completely harmless, but may startle someone who is not used to them.
