Doubtful. As PP mention, chances of you being boarded and on your way at 9:00 are pretty well non-existant. The safari takes a MINIMUM of 20 minutes. Sometimes they stop and let you look at something, sometimes an animal wanders onto the track and you have to sit there waiting for it to move. So, let's say you get underway at 9:10ish, you have a delay, and your safari ends up being 30 minutes (I've heard tell on here of people having 20 minute delays), you're already at 9:40+. You still need to disembark, exit the ride area and walk to your ressie, another what 5-6 minutes? You're at 9:50 or so already. Will they hold your reservation for 20 minutes? Maybe. Maybe not. And even if they do, you'll have to wait likely for seating since you're late. So why chance it? Instead, walk the Pangani trail until your ressie get a sneak peek of some of the animals you'l see. Then, try for a 10:00 or 10:30 FP for safari. It'll give you a chance to just sit and relax while your breakfast settles. I don't know about you, but the last thing I like to do right after eating a large meal is jump right into a round of heavy walking in warm temps.
