Good Morning!!

We are so excited here---I've pulled an all nighter due to not getting everything done I needed to earlier but I'm running on pure adrenelin right now Going to try and get my sleep later this morning and early afternoon before we leave for our flight. Hope everyone over the pond got off safely and are at your destinations at this point. Ed---how's the drive going??


A special Thank you to all here who posted a Happy Birthday to Kelsey yesterday---she was so surprised to see her name here and it brought a big smile to her face We had a small family party amongst all the packing and she had a great day!! She is most excited about leaving today though and says it feels like her birthday is just going on and on because of the trip.

Well, back to my list so I can get off to some sleep. I will try to check in before we fly out but can't promise if I end up sleeping my morning away--if not we all look forward to meeting each and every one of you real soon---I just can' t believe we are leaving today and this wonderful trip is finally here!!

My last post until we see everyone either at Disney or on the cruise! Off to pack the car for our 1 hour trip to Allentown, PA and on to Sanford,FL. We fly a charter airline (Allegiant) which is a direct flight.

Finally a face to put with your name!! Now I can truly picture this incredible guy who is doing such a fun thing for his family. I also happened to catch your post about the onboard credit you are giving your wife. What a lucky gal!!!! This will truly be the trip of a lifetime for all of you.

Okay, so I woke up this morning and the first thing I thought of was "one week from now, I will be getting off the boat in Castaway Cay!"

I know that we are all leaving over the course of the next six days, but I thought it would be fun to hear what you all will be doing "one week from now". So....anytime this week that you think about it, post what you will be doing!

Buddy Bear and others interested in Majahual,

I spent several hours yesterday trying to find info on Majahual and stumbled across this map.

From what I've read Tequila Beach Club is nice but more geared towards the "younger" crowd. So people say head for Tequila Beach and keep walking. That means go south of Tequila Beach. I read good things about Pez Quadro restaurant. Quieter area. I believe you "rent" a beach chair for some nominal amount and order lunch from the restaurant.

I tried looking for some private hotels/resorts in the general area and came up empty. Either they were too far away or the beach wasn't nice. I'm sure there are others but you need to know the name of the resort.

I think the really nice places are closer to Tulum.

So that's what we're going to go - go beyond Tequila Beach and find a nice place. I did read the Cats Meow is a fantastic restaurant but the beach was okay.

I know my kids are going to want to swim at the big pool near the dock.

............I'll be relaxing and swimming on CC, then having lunch at Cookies BBQ , then relaxing and swimming somemore!!!

Exactly 1 week from right now I'll be on Castaway Cay, heading towards the Stingray beach, for my 11am Castaway Ray excursion Swimming with the 'rays!!!!!!

However, at this moment we're still at the hotel, we'll be checking out soon and heading to the beach/boardwalk/restaurant where Robby's been working all summer

I'l prob be just getting up or heading to get off the ship now. Yes I'm a late sleeper. At home I sleep till 2:00pm in the afternoon. Usually go to bed around 3:00am.

One week from right now, my family and I will be finishing up our Seahorse catamaran snorkeling on a beautiful, peaceful island called Castaway Cay. (It'll be the first try at snorkeling for 3 of us - what better place to start!) I'm picturing palm trees, warm breezes, soft sand and beautiful waters. Ahhhhhhhhh........

Hi Everyone!

One week from now John will be surprise Parasailing with Doreen & Crew and I'll be getting an OPEN AIR MASSAGE AT SERENITY!!! Then I'll be meeting up with the other chickens Karen & Marty. Maybe my sisters & their hubbies can make it down to Serenity too! I wonder if we (Disers) will be evenly split between the family & adult beaches? I love the family beach but have never been to the adult beach to compare. If anyone's done both could you post your impressions for me. Thanks!

Beautiful Day at the Jersey shore , so off to enjoy a little ride on the wave runner before we get the suitcases out of the attic so I can start packing tomorrow.

I'm leaving my house in a few to go to Sea Side Heights till Wednesday, then coming home to pack, and leaving my house at 9:00am thursday for my flight out of newark to orlando. I'll be so tired by friday night because I know in sea side all my friends and I will be drinking and staying up till 3:00am one last trip before we all leave for college.

Or, you can ship it to my mom's place via Priority Mail on Monday and I can bring it to the Radisson on Friday.

I told my mom that we might need to rent a U-Haul trailer to get all our luggage and packages to the Radisson on Friday, she just laughed!!!

Mary Rose - I have changed my departure plans and will now be leaving Thursday night (8/17 around 6 PM), instead of Friday morning. I decided that it would just be easier to stay at one of the hotels near the airport since our flight leaves at 8:35 AM and we live about 90 minutes from the airport.
