Hats off to all of you moms & dads -- I'm having major packing anxiety tonight and I only have to get myself ready!

Happy cruise dreams tonight!

Ditto everyone's comments on the WildSide. I have Chelsea (15) signed up for the 1st day, but seriously doubt she'll follow through with it. On the other hand, it's worth the gamble, cuz if she does go, I think she'll have fun!!! My observation of the Stack is that the clicks develop VERY quickly. By day 2 or 3 it's almost impossible for them to find a niche.

I assume they can come and go from the teen beach at will....whether or not signed up for the Wild Side??? What is the "supervision" like there???

Good Morning Everyone.

Anyone that is starting their traveling today and forward from the UK my prayers are with you while you are traveling.

I have been watching MSNBC and CNN since early this AM and I hope everyone gets safely to their destination.

Travel Safe,

Karen

On Angelina's last two cruises she went to the 411 meeting the first night at The Stack, but didn't go back the rest of the week. I don't think she really clicked with anyone, so she just decided to hang around with us. I don't know what she has planned this time around, we'll just have to wait and see. :confused3

Good Morning :sunny:

So--what is everyone's take on this news out of the UK?? I'm now reading where it applies to everyone. This is really going to cause me to have to move alot of things around. So no liquids of any kind drinkable or non in your carry on. We usually always take our toilietries in a carry on and now I'm going to have to pack all of that in our luggage??? Of course I want everyone to be safe---but--thought I had all of that taken care of and now I have to find room in the checked luggage. What about Shaving Creme in an aresol can?? Can that be put in checked luggage?? Oh Well whatever keeps us all safe--it's just a shame that our world has come to this :sad2:

Have A Great Day All!! :sunny:

Almost forgot to share that Shirley called yesterday and Chuck's basket is going to be GREAT !! His passion is fishing so she came up with the idea of putting things in a tackle box. :thumbsup2 What guy can't use another tackle box? :cool1: She is also picking him up a t-shirt from Ron Jon's with fish on them. I can't wait to surprise him.

I just turned on the morning news and caught the very end of the reporter talking from the Philly Airport where we will be flying from one week from today. I will have to keep a close eye on this to see what is happening.

We all will have to keep an eye on this, well those of us who will be flying, anyway. :sad2: A lot can happen in a week, we'll have to watch and see what unfolds.

May we all arrive safe and sound at Port Canaveral next Saturday for our long-awaited cruise. :grouphug:

I woke up to this herrible news about those terrorists... Safe journey to ANDREW UK and all our other friends traveling from the UK to the US..

Princess crazy, I too fee the pinch of the carry on luggage ban.. I normally put my makeup and deodorants in them.. UGGG now your right time to rearrange.. I am all for safety.. and BLESS the fine men and women that found these horrible people... PROTECT OUR FLAGS OF ALL OUR NATIONS!!!

Now a question.. if we cant carry a beverage with us.. will they offer these to us on the plane more often.. i carry my water everywhere I go.. I get so dehydrated and keep my 32oz bottle with me. What about all those people that buy food at the shops in the airport.. and they are not finished .. they already went through the security.. can they bring that soda or bottled water on board??

Our airport which is 3 miles from my home is at an orange level...

DOREEN

Doreen--

I just spoke with our airline a few minutes ago and am on hold again now to ask a few more ???'s as we fly out this Sunday. We are flying on Airtran and I was basically told what we have all been reading. No liquids of any kind including toothpaste, gels, creams, liquid medicines and yes even drinking water. I asked about this speciifically since I too take water with me everywhere I go and was told that not even drinking water is acceptable. I did ask too about what if you purchased a drink at the airport and if I understood correctly she said that you would have to take a drink of it before you entered the plane----but I would'nt be surprised if they won't let you take that on either.

I was also told to arrive at the airport 1 hour earlier than I would have planned and to expect alot longer wait times :sad2: I'm with you---Thank the Lord for the people who thwarted this and I just hope everyone stays safe.

I'm still on hold and I'll ask too about if they will be offering any increased beverage service.

Kristi

I seriously doubt they'll allow ANY kind of beverages on the planes now, no matter if you bought it right there at the airport or not, because they don't keep track of who bought it there and who carried theirs in with them. We, too, always take spring water bottles onto the planes with us. We'll either not take them, or pack a few in our checked luggage so we'll have access to them right after we get off the plane. I'm sure the airlines will step up their beverage service, once they get a chance to adjust to this brand new policy. We're fortunate, we have a week to see how this unfolds, before we fly, so we have time to be prepared with the new carry-on policy.
