She will be there from the end of August until the middle of June.....no coming home, even for the holidays! I am a little sad at that, but living there is the very best way for her to get the language down. She has taken 5 years of French, but conversing fluently can only happen by living there and immersing herself. I am really excited for her.

We are not doing Disneyland, but she may go with her family. They have two children 7 and 2.

My friend and I are staying in Paris proper. we all arrive on wed. am and Katharine will leave for Valence on Thurs. afternoon. Valence is just south of Lyon at the base of the Alps.

The O'Briens are in cabins 6610 & 6611 and our smoothie-maker will always be ready for any DIS guests!!!!!

Speaking of visiting each other's cabins, wouldn't it be nice if we knew someone who was staying in the Roy Suite so we could stop by and have a drink Is there a piano in there Jeff???

Everyone - I have 40 Cruisin' Castaway pins and 30 CC magnets from Andy's design at Cafepress. If every cabin gets one magnet do you guys think 30 will be enough? I don't want to leave ANYONE out. So since time is short can you all please weigh in with your thoughts on how many I need. I am going to use Tina's cabin list as a guide, but I'm sure not everyone will give their cabins numbers.

Work is actually going MUCH MUCH better than I had anticipated. I was so stressed over being there by myself, but it's going very well so far! I'm actually remembering a lot more than I thought I would. And the thing I worried about for tomorrow, I took the time to figure out today There's a guy named Joel who works in Accounting and is doing his own work as well as covering for a lady in his department who's also out on vacation this week. This afternoon he walked in and handed me a huge pile of "allonges" (they're legal documents that extend the written field of a contract), and when he set them down I just stared blankly at them. He said "Do you know what to do with these?? Usually Kaitlyn handles these and gives them to Maggie...." I told him that they look *vaguely* familiar, and we both laughed. Within a few minutes of discussing these documents, we both put 2 and 2 together and figured out what I had to do with them (and no, dumping them in the garbage can wasn't an option ). Anyway, he said he didn't need them back until Friday, but I did them ALL today before I left! It basically involved taking the copies of the customer contracts, pulling the files, and swapping out the original contracts with the copies, then putting the various pages together, and stapling them. lol

Ok, I'm rambling on...I'm sure nobody really cares what I had to do with the allonges today But I'm sure glad that I ended up knowing what to do with them!

I'm glad you are all asking what fish mail is??? I thought it was some inside joke or something. Good news on the tank top front....I was able to get them at Kmart 3 for $10, what the heck do men care what they wear anyway! As long as it not ME wearing the crappy stuff, LOL

Fish Mail is a term that is used to describe, an ole little fish right outside your cabin door . It's actually on the wall next to cabin door. It's used for the CM's to put messages there for you. On our wedding cruise left us a handwritten card with real PD and everything ! We got fish mail almost everyday on that cruise ! It was so exciting !!!!

Okay, well once my fam goes on Tina's list that's already 27 cabins. So I don't have enough. I wait just a bit for peoples suggestions and the list to grow before I see how many more I need to order.
