Hi Everyone!

I feel bad--been doing alot of reading of all your posts here but have'nt had much time to do much posting myself. I promise I will try to make up for it in these last few weeks and maybe give us a little push towards 10,000!

Welcome to all the new comers lately!! Sounds like this will definitely be a full cruise! Congrats to everyone's successes lately and pixie dust to those of you who are going through some rough times---just a few more weeks and we will all be making new memories and forgetting all the negatives.

A special thanks again goes out to Andy for helping me with so many different things---now I'm just trying to decide with all of these threads lately how safe it will be to leave our magnets on our door---Andy made a really special one for our DD's 9th birthday and I want to display it for all to see but would really be heartbroken if someone took it and we did'nt have it to take home. Am trying to decide if we should leave them on the outside of our door for just a while and then move them to the inside??? But what fun is that?? Even read here somewhere that someone a few weeks ago had all there magnets taken during the lifeboat drill and only had them for a few hours----Oh well, I just need to have faith and they will be fine

Terry--I've enjoyed reading about your new job---if you are not too busy I don't think I ever told you that we are on the Fury Catamarn excursion in
Cozumel as well--for you to add to the intinerary page. We've been back and forth on this and have somewhat decided to keep it for now---with all the negative post on this excursion we did'nt know what to do ---but then it seems lately that there have been some favorable reviews??? The one reason we seem to be keeping it is because of the good review on the catamaran ride itself---I think our DD would really love that part of it even if we don't get to see many fish or get a long while on the beach. Anyone else on this excursion have any opinions???


Can't remember who was bringing them but if someone is still doing the glow straws??? Did I read that somewhere or am I ---anyway we would love to have 5 0r 6 --just let me know what I would owe you.

Melissa & Maura are suppose to join us for dinner for Cruise Meet and documents part 2. Can never really tell with teens if it will come off or night, so I'll check with kids tomorrow and get back to you, but the movie sounds like fun! It's a great idea. What movie?

Linda: I hope your MIL can get her birth certificate easily. I know when we needed to get a new copy of DH's bc, it wasn't difficult or took too long as all.

kristi: I've added you to the Fury Catamaran excursion on the Itinerary Page. It takes me literally a few seconds to do that I've been reading the same mixed reviews that you have, and I've decided to keep the excursion for a couple of reasons: First all, we have a big group of DISers going, and I KNOW we'll make our own good time! Secondly, like you said, I think it'll be fun just to be ON the Catamaran! lol And I think it's a good all-around type of excursion; the fun of the catamaran, the bit of snorkeling, a bit of beach time, and the fun of our group.

Diane: I also left out the part about the synchronized swimming (and no, I am not kidding, I wish I were. )

Tina: If I see a CM heading my way while I'm in the pool, I won't stay around long enough to find out what he's up to!! I will be out of that pool before you could blink!

Zack&AlexMom, one of our birth certs (I think it is DH's) doesn't have a raised seal, and I was in panic over it on our last cruise (got so many different, mixed messages). In the end the person I happened to talk to at DCL (again, mixed message) said don't worry about it.

In the end, it was never an issue. And I had forgotten all about it until you posted. I haven't read where folks are being turned away over this issue, have you?


Kristi - I agree w/ you and Terry. I am afraid we'll be disappointed by the actual snorkeling experience, but the sailing should be fun. So, all plans a-go for keeping this excursion (if only b/c I don't have any brain cells left to research another one!!!)

TERRY... thank you for the post.. wow from 2 yrs to 3 weeks.. where did all that time go.. All the illnesses we shared the triumphs of our children, the old jobs the new jobs the old houses the new ones,, old cars, accidents, vacations, WEDDINGS!!!! our 4 legged family memebers... WOW what a great 2 yrs its been. I personally want to thank each of you for being there for me when I needed a friend and an ear to lean on...

Linda.. go to the CIVIC CENTER in the basement and you can get one for $30...I think you should be able to get your moms. You get it right than..If she is able to go with you.. bring her and avoid a repeat trip.

SARAHS MOM.. I got my steve madden flip flops too.. I got 2 pairs of flip flops and I cant wear them.. go figure.lol Jaclyn got a pr of camoflouge shoes that just came out.. They had buy one get 1 half price.. I was almost tempted to buy the beaded purse for formal night but I spent enough $$$$$..

Hi Everyone! You all are posting so much -- I'm having a hard time keeping up! I just got finished reading the last few pages and wanted to say:

Molly: Congrats! What wonderful and exciting news!

Andy: WooHoo! Docs AND an upgrade!

Ct_TiggerFan: Lucky you -- only 2 weeks to go! Although I would be freaking out if that were me! I still have so much to do in the next 3 weeks (the most important of which is to make arrangements for our 2 dogs. The person who was supposed to stay with them at our house can no longer do it. I have a reservation at a kennel, but I HATE the idea of boarding them. Oh well, I still have 3 weeks to figure it all out!)

Beachpal.........I'm starting to freak out. I feel like I am cramming for a big test or something. So many details to think about..so many shoes to think about. I wish I could leave home with just 2 pairs.

Time to go see if my van is ready. I was driving along yesterday and my AC stopped, the radio stopped playing, and the instrument panel starting blinking. I freaked out. Luckily I was near the garage I use so I drove there. And I could actually reach my DH who had to come rescue me since I had to pick up a bunch of kids from a bike/hike/fishing camp in the woods. We made it with 5 mintues to spare. Just another day in my life...........

On the other hand.......I just got my air fare down to $59 from BWI to MCO on Southwest. I never thought I'd ever see those prices again. I thought $79 was excellent.

I wasn't on line last night because we had some BA storms roll through our area. It felt like the thunder and lightening were directly over our house. And then at 1 AM it started all over again and woke me up. Probably why you lost your cable, ANDY.

Sandy was fitted with a waterproof short cast on her left forearm. She is doing really well and wait until you see the color she chose. She was leaning towards "glow in the dark" but opted for "lime green", bright lime green. They said she can do anything she wants to do but to be careful of twisting motions and don't let sand get inside. Looks like I'll be searching for a protective sleeve for her beach time. And I think I will just leave the snorkel gear at home and do that another time. We'll see.

Her brothers have initiated her into the "Broken Arm Club" and they have bonded over wound stories.

I can't believe we will be flying out in 2 weeks. I better get in gear...
