Hi Everyone! Back from the concert and except for some temporary deafness, we remain unscathed! Actually it was a great show! I love Kelly Clarkson.

Andy - I'm going to keep the car until morning too so add 6 to dinner please! It ought to be fun!

Darlene - my good friend! Congrats on the birth of your grandson! Babies are such a joy and I hope you get to hold him soon. Prayers and hugs to Stan the Man and to you and Sandy too! I truly hope you can make the cruise but I most especially hope that Stan gets well soon! Please keep us posted. You are never far out of my thoughts!

Susan - 25 people! That should be a blast. You know what, you are part of two really big groups on the ship. Everywhere you go you'll know someone. I hope we catch sight of the bride & groom on the ship. I love that sort of thing. Looking forward to seeing you and yours next month too!

ahh... Day 1 of my new job! I'm awake and all dressed already and I don't have to leave for another 2 hours. LOL I'm curious to see how today goes. I'll be reporting back this afternoon.




Darlene: Congratulations!! How exciting, a new baby!! I hope you get to see him soon.
I'm so sorry to hear that Stan needs more surgery. Please let him know that he, and all of you, are always in my thoughts. I can understand why you can't really get too excited about the cruise because of the fact that you may have to miss it. I hope that's not the case, and I hope that Stan will be well enough to cruise with us. It just wouldn't be the same without the three of you.

Checking in from break! It's going very well so far! They even gave me a "welcome" gift; a company coffee mug filled with candies, and a card welcoming me to the company. It was all wrapped up with ribbons. How nice is THAT?!?!? I'm alone in the breakroom so that's why I decided to log on here. Ok, back to work in 4 minutes! lol

Andy: Put 4 more down for grills. We arrive in Orlando at 10am so we will have had plenty of time to hang out by the pool for a while before dinner.

Bev: Thanks for blocking those rooms & getting a group rate but we ended up booking the Radisson at a really low govt. rate...thanks to Andy's advice.

Doreen: If it's not too late I will take 2 bubbles for the kids.

Darlene: Congrats on the birth of your grandson. How exciting that must be! Good thoughts for you & Stan also.

I have a confession to make, for the past few weeks I have been working behind the scenes about trying to get my mom and I on this cruise. I finally got the call I was hoping for at 8:15 this morning.

Thanks to Ed, who told me that the August 19th cruise was open for the Florida Resident Rates a few weeks ago, and since my mom is a Florida resident, I was able to get us a room (cat. 11) for less than $1400.00

As soon as I got the call I was hoping for, I quickly called DCL and booked us a cabin, as there weren't many cabins left at the Florida Resident Rate.

So, if you haven't seen my new countdown clock in my siggie, take a look and see what it says!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!




I should also mention that both Hazel and Angelina told me to go for it if I could get my mom and I a cabin. They have a family obligation to attend the week of the cruise, and since I was sick for the first five days of our May cruise my girls said I deserve to be on the Cruisin' Castaways sailing.
