Hi Terry,

Andy, you must be soooo looking forward to your trip! Your link looks great!

Great pic,

Thanks for sharing

Doreen - Sorry to hear about your surgery. Hope you will be feeling better soon. pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

With the airfares higher than I thought they would be, I'm thinking of :car: driving to Port Canaveral. Flying, renting a car for a week after the cruise; limo to PC = $$$$$. I figure it usually takes me 18 hours including stops (2 days) to drive. But I won't have to rent a car and if we want to leave the timeshare early we can. Plus I don't know if DS Harley will fly down for the second week yet. If I see a fantastic airfare then I'll fly. It's coming up soon

Take care,

Bev paw:

Look into the Autotrain
You drive to Lorfton Va by 4pm and the next morning your car and you are in Sanford fl.

We did it last year and loved it. We are planing on it again this year.

If your planing on driving its a nice way to go
Not as cheep as flying, but if you plan on having a car for the time in Fl the cost may be cheeper.
Ed

Good morning everyone :wave2:

Doreen: How are you feeling? I hope you're feeling better now. If you want to talk, let me know! :chat: Yes, just John and I going to Disney World next week! The boys are thrilled to be staying home, they're not interested in the Disney parks these days, but they're both looking forward to the cruise. :boat: We will be staying at Disney after the cruise, and I know they'll be spending most of their time at DisneyQuest, Downtown Disney, and maybe the Boardwalk area. lol

Regarding the "TEEN FURY CATAMARAN" excursion; I'm sorry to tell you that they're not offering it this time (I just checked the DCL web site and it's not listed with the excursions). I'm sure this is because we leave Cozumel at 5:30pm this time. The Teen Fury excursion used to start at 6pm, but that was before Cozumel got hit by the hurricane and the ship used to stay docked until 10pm! I'm not sure what the timeframe is for them to have the pier rebuilt, but if it's done by August, maybe they'll add the Teen Fury excursion back to the list.

For the regular Fury Catamaran excursion, it'll just be you, Marty, and Karen?? If your kids aren't going on that, I'm thinking my boys might not want to go either (they don't even know that I've signed them up for this yet. :rolleyes1 LOL). But since they're not having the Teen Fury excursion, do you think Daniel will want to go on the regular excursion with you? Let me know.

SamRoc: I added you to the Chacchoben Ruins excursion list. :)

Moira: I'll change your dining listing on page 1 to show that you're on the early seating. :)

Hello Everyone :wave2:
I am back and getting into the swing of things again. I waved to you as we went by.........Syrcuse,PA,NJ. It was a long drive there and back. They had the wake in Stony Brook LI and he was buried in Queens. Trying to get from point A to point B was NOT fun. :sad2: After the service we all changed our clothes and went back to my Aunt's house. Here is a picture of me & my Grandmother. They were married 63 years. ( notice the disney shirt I put on to cheer me up. lol )

HELLO EVERYONE!!!

Tina - Question for you...a friend of mine is sailing concierage this July and said he can't talk to a "person" until he boards. Is that true? He is booking what he can on-line at the 105 day mark but is concerned about not getting to speak with a person about things he want to coordinate.

BYE!
Darlene

Darlene: I am not sailing concierage ............however I am able to book 105 days out because I booked the romance package. I have called DCL a couple of times with questions and they have been very helpful and it seems that they ARE willing to go that extra mile because we booked that package. Just my 2 cents. I was able to request APL for 8:00 and she thought it wouldn't be a problem getting it. :confused3 My 105 day mark is for THIS Saturday so we will see what happens. I plan on booking on line. :wizard:

Tina, Thanks as always from you and your really cute dog (is he/she a Highland Terrier??). You always explain things well - it's all very clear now.

That's a good suggestion about my DD and the club, she's gets on well with other kids so hopefully she will want to stay..She is currently big into Bratz and Power Rangers(??) (I mistakenly thought that SPD and Space something were the same thing, she was not impressed) In the meantime, I will keep the Jungle Beach break on the back burner....

Marla, Thanks so much for re-directing us back to 2004. Tina, was that your wedding you were organizing? Is this your honeymoon cruise and is that why you've booked the romantic break? If so, would love to hear all details (I am such a saddo romantic!)
Night all...Moira.

Moira: Dante is a Maltese and DH got him for me as a first Anniversay gift. I have been training him for agility. We got married on Castaway in Nov. 2004. That's why we are excited to see Castaway twice !! My DD was maid of honor and DS was best man. We really didn't have a honeymoon since kids were with us..............so it's kind of a delayed honeymoon. :woohoo: We already booked again for Nov.2007 the month we got married and that time we are bringing the kids with us to celebrate. :thumbsup2

Moira - your daughter is adorable.

Tina - sorry you had to go away and glad you made it home safe. That's a nice picture of you and your grandmother. Pictures are sooo important.
I forgot about the Cruise Exchange. I picked up some things at Spencer's and the Disney Store. I really hope my family likes what I got them so far. I hope they have a sense of humor. :rolleyes2 I have to get more things.

Doreen - take care of yourself

Ed - isn't the autotrain expensive?

Andy - when do you leave?

Everyone else take care.

It all depends when you book, much like disney cruise, the eailer you book, the cheeper it is.

Also if you have AAA it adds a discount.

Also depends if your booking a bedroom or not

But if your driving down its another way to go and it allows you to start your vacation that much sooner.

Hey everybody it's MEEEEEEEEEEEE Mary Rose!

I heard you calling me Doreen!

How the heck is everyone? Sorry I've been away so long, at times our trip was in doubt (work-related vacation time issues) and we were very, very sad, but now it's all worked out and we're FULL STEAM AHEAD!!!!

As a matter of fact we've added two to our party. In lieu of a Sweet Sixteen Party for our daughter Taryn, she instead is taking two friends on a Disney Cruise (not too spoiled huh?)

I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up on the thread. We are definitely onboard for meets and excursions and Palo's and Brunches! YIPPEEEEEEEEEEE! And don't forget our smoothie meet on CC!

In the few pages I have read I see we have lost some of our crew (aw shucks) and added others along the way (yay).

Okay, I going to go try and catch up now.

It's great to be back! Missed you guys! We had such an awesome time two years ago! LET'S DO IT AGAIN IN 2006!

Mary Rose

Aw Thanks Bev!!!!!

Sorry about your puppy dog :sad1: Losing a pet is killer. What an adorable picture of her though!

Talk to you later,
Mary Rose

Andy: I am so excited we will be getting live reports! Yipeee!

Tina: What a lovely pic of you and your grandmother. Sorry it was under such sad circumstances.

MaryRose: Glad you are back! I thought it was something we said! ;) Looking forward to hearing more about those smoothies you guys are famous for!

Diane

Tina,

Dante is adorable! :dog2: And your picture with your grandmother is really lovely... Now I've got a face to the name! no wonder you are excited about going back to CC, what a lovely memory to have!

Bev, hope your other poodle is not too lonely, will you get another one to keep him company?

As for CRUISE EXCHANGE....
I sent the parcel last week so I expect (and the post office promised) that it would be there by today. I sent two others at the same time and they arrived so I'm hoping that my family will have them this weekend. I know I am too early but I got caught up in the excitment! :Pinkbounc

Doreen, hope you are feeling better today...and that your family are feeding you plenty of chicken soup (cure for everything here!) :stir:

Moira :cheer2:
