GINNY
I tried to post a congratulatory message to you last night and it went "poof".

so here goes again...
CONGRATULATIONS!
One of my sons is house hunting in the Brandon area. I'm so excited for you! I can't wait to hear all about it. You did tell them you need vacation in Aug right?

Good luck finding a buyer for your house and finding a new home in :sunny: sunny Florida.

Are the kids excited?

Darleen - hows Stan today?

Thanks for asking. We go to the hospital tomorrow for a CT and hopefully they will remove the drain. They are postponing any more chemo treatments for now. He's pretty drained (no pun intended) and rests alot but his appetite is off.

Thanks for the countdown to summer!
Darlene

It's a :umbrella: Friday here in South Jersey, so I decided to take a vacation day and take care of some things around the house today.

Wishing everyone a very enjoyable weekend!!!

Good morning, everyone!

It's actually sunny here this morning! :sunny: After having 2 weeks of rain, the sun is a very welcome sight. :) And our "babies" are growing nice and thick and strong in the backyard finally :bounce: (green bouncy for the grass!) lol

Darlene: Sending good thoughts to you and Stan today. I hope they can remove the drain. You said his appetite is off, is he not as hungry as usual? This might be a side effect of the abcess? I hope he starts feeling back to his usual self soon. *hugs* :grouphug:

Barb: I was doing great on my diet but then fell off the wagon, so to speak. With everything else going on at the moment, dieting has taken a back seat. Actually, it's not even in the back seat, its being dragged behind the car in a trailer. :earboy2: Hehehe. Eventually I *will* get back to making a better diet higher on my priority list.

Some good news:

GOT THE BEDROOM ALL PAINTED LAST NIGHT!!! We finished around 11pm then we slept in the family room. lol Looking at that small full sized bed now, I can't believe we've been sleeping in it all these years. You guys can't imagine how excited we are about our king sized bed! Macy's called last night and said they'll be delivering it between 8:30-10:30am this morning!! I just hung up the new valances :teeth: I am exhausted and in pain (my arthritis has been acting up a lot lately), but I am so happy the room is all done. John and I really killed ourselves last night getting it done, but it was worth it!! :teeth:

32 days till my DISNEY WORLD TRIP!! ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo princess: pirate:

Tomorrow morning we'll be taking Robby into Boston to receive an award for scoring so high on the SAT tests. He took the SATs this year in 8th grade through the John Hopkins program and he scored high enough to put him in the top 20% of the state :teacher: He finds taking the SATs "fun". I bought him a few small gifts to congratulate him with. Our town doesn't do anything for 8th grade graduation, so we're kind of turning this award thing into a small celebration. After the awards ceremony we'll have lunch in Boston. Either Fire & Ice or Hard Rock Cafe.

I hope everyone has a great weekend! :flower:

Terry--Congrats on getting the room ready for your new "furniture" and a special congrats for Robby with the SAT's.

Darlene--happy thoughts, good wishes and a :grouphug: is coming your way!!!

63 weeks to go until the Cruisin' Castaways Cruise!!! Thanks again for the countdown Terry!!! Even though we were on the Magic this past January, it's seems like a lifetime ago

**LIVE FROM MY BEDROOM VIA MY LAPTOP**

Hehehe....waiting for the delivery guys to show up! :hourglass Gotta love wireless internet :teeth: I'm sitting on the stripped old bed, the delivery guys will take this one away with them. We're letting them take the entire thing, headboard and footboard included. Wish I knew someone who could use an entire bed. It's actually in very good shape, just way too small for John, Mushu (our cat), and I to sleep in!

Andy: Forgot to tell you to enjoy your day off today :) And I know what you mean about feeling like the last cruise was a long time ago. On one hand it feels like it was just last week, but on the otherhand, it feels like much longer than the actual 9 months ago that it was. :hourglass

Terry,

Congrats on finshing the room. You will love the king bed.
We had one for year now, we too upgraded from a full.

My DW and I are pooh size and their is still room for the cats :rotfl2:,
but the crowd us as they want to lay either on us or against my hips.

Andy enjoy the day off.

Darlene best wishes, and some pd:wizard: for Stan.

Ginny:Congrats on the job

Back to work catch you all later TTFN

Hi Everyone:

Been very busy this week. I will catch up with all the new posts tomorrow, but in the meantime I thought you would like to see a picture of Matt's prom tonight.

Lyn

Lyn - maybe its just me - but I liked Matt better with the mohawk - LOL

Just kidding of course - what a nice looking son you have there.

Lyn--that is one sharp looking couple there, thanks for sharing the photo!!!

We were at the Deptford Mall the other evening having dinner at Ruby Tuesday and saw quite a few young men walking out of the mall carrying a tux, we figured there must have been more proms going on this weekend.

:boat: :sunny: 63 weeks to go!!! :sunny: :boat:

I went back to the beginning of this thread and checked when the first countdown began, back then we had 98 weeks to go, now we're down to 63 weeks!!! Keep the countdown movin' Terry, you are doing a GREAT job!!!
 :cheer2:

BTW, for those of us who are meeting at the Trail's End in Fort Wilderness this August 19th, I was thinking, maybe we could have a "pre-cruise" celebration of some sort, as that will mark the one year date from when we actually sail away.

OMG Andy! those 2 dates didnt even click - Im usually much better than that
Sooo what are you thinking for a precruise celebration?

Did you notice the Aug hrs came out yesterday? I have the feeling the end of our first wk is going to be commando and the 2nd wk will be more Boardwalk/pool/etc.

Ed - I think we may be talking about going out on the Boardwalk after the Illum cruise - wanna join us if we do?

I know what you mean Barb, the dates didn't click with me until the other night while we were having dinner at Ruby Tuesday and Angelina started asking questions about our trip to WDW this August, and our cruise next August. I sat there and said, "Hey, our mini DISmeet on August 19th at Trail's End, is exactly one year from the day, that we will be getting back on the Magic." :cool1:

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend and :grouphug: for those of you with difficulties just now.

I'm another one of those who are delighted to see August hours come out at last!

I can't believe how quickly this thread moves!

Have a great weekend all :)

Karen

Andy, Barb,

I thought you guys knew, LOL I spoted it the first time I heard about the Ft Wilderness mini meet. :rotfl2::rotfl:

Barb, the Boardwalk might be a possiblilty, the Illum cruise is our last night in WDW for this year. We leave for home the next morning, Taking a slow drive back to CT, Heading inland to pick up the Skyline drive in VA,

We hope to make Santee SC our first night back on the road. Then Up I26 to I81 and so on. Im trying to map out our route but dont want to over do the driving on any one day.
