Good morning, everyone!
It's actually sunny here this morning!

After having 2 weeks of rain, the sun is a very welcome sight.

And our "babies" are growing nice and thick and strong in the backyard finally

(green bouncy for the grass!) lol
Darlene: Sending good thoughts to you and Stan today. I hope they can remove the drain. You said his appetite is off, is he not as hungry as usual? This might be a side effect of the abcess? I hope he starts feeling back to his usual self soon. *hugs*
Barb: I was doing great on my diet but then fell off the wagon, so to speak. With everything else going on at the moment, dieting has taken a back seat. Actually, it's not even in the back seat, its being dragged behind the car in a trailer.

Hehehe. Eventually I *will* get back to making a better diet higher on my priority list.
Some good news:
GOT THE BEDROOM ALL PAINTED LAST NIGHT!!! We finished around 11pm then we slept in the family room. lol Looking at that small full sized bed now, I can't believe we've been sleeping in it all these years. You guys can't imagine how excited we are about our king sized bed! Macy's called last night and said they'll be delivering it between 8:30-10:30am this morning!! I just hung up the new valances

I am exhausted and in pain (my arthritis has been acting up a lot lately), but I am so happy the room is all done. John and I really killed ourselves last night getting it done, but it was worth it!!
32 days till my DISNEY WORLD TRIP!!
Tomorrow morning we'll be taking Robby into Boston to receive an award for scoring so high on the SAT tests. He took the SATs this year in 8th grade through the John Hopkins program and he scored high enough to put him in the top 20% of the state

He finds taking the SATs "fun".

I bought him a few small gifts to congratulate him with. Our town doesn't do anything for 8th grade graduation, so we're kind of turning this award thing into a small celebration. After the awards ceremony we'll have lunch in Boston. Either Fire & Ice or Hard Rock Cafe.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!
