I saw on one posting that you can call a few days before you leave to
make sure you get the room you requested. Am I wrong about this?
I think it said they assign rooms several days before arrival. I don't remember how many.

Can someone tell me how to do this. I will be traveling with family and we would like to be near each other. Also do you know if two families using separate points can we request ajoing rooms. I have a one bedroom and my brother is getting a two bedroom.

Thanks

Leave on February 15,2009. This is the first time we have gone from Sunday to Thursday. I hope I like going for that short of time, usually go for a week.

All room requests need to be made through Member Services. DVC has told members not to call or fax the resort directly.

There is going to be an online check-in feature coming soon. If that is ready in time for your trip, there is also an area on that where you can make requests. It's not clear how preassigning will work with that.

Make sure both reservations contain the request to be near each other. I've never had a problem with this request at OKW, always getting placed either in the same building, or adjacent buildings. I would assume the other resorts also do heir best to honor "nearby" requests.

There is no way to make sure you get the "room you requested" If someone is in the "room you requested" they won't be evicted because you called a few days ahead.

There are no adjoining one bedrooms and two bedrooms. Adjacant maybe, close probably.
