Called to confirm-One Missing!!

A week out and I called to confirm my adr's and they didn't have my last adr for Spoodles :sad2: . They have room available, but not until 8:30, which is too late for us. I'm guessing not much will be available on a Saturday a week out :sad2:
 
Oh no! I am so sorry... after reading your post I called Disney Dining and confirmed our ADR's (2nd time) just to make sure everything was in order. I am glad I did because I had one of our reservation numbers wrong.

Don't give up hope... there are still lots of last minutes cancellations. Good luck.
 
Thanks for the reply. I ended up getting Sci-Fi at 5:15. Funny thing, as I was seeing what was available, he told me he had Sci-Fi at 5:30. I asked to check Boma, nothing available. I said, ok Sci-Fi at 5:30 and he said it had just been booked as he was checking Boma :lmao: . I said give me whatever time you have available. Oh well, will have to try Spoodles next time :thumbsup2
 
Call back and ask them to look for the Spoodles reservation using your telephone number; then your name, if that doesn't work; then alternate spellings of your name.

I made my Le Cellier ADR 176 days in advance. When I called a couple of months later to make the rest of my reservations and to confirm that one... the CM couldn't find it!!! Naturally, by then there was nothing available during my entire trip. She got a supervisor involved - apparently it was listed under the (entirely) wrong phone number, and when they tried my name eventually we determined my first name was spelled wrong on my reservation :rolleyes:
So, fine, I have all the numbers, times, etc. I called again more recently to make some changes, confirm the days/times and cancel any duplicate bookings. Guess what? Again, they couldn't find my Le Cellier reservation! So now, supposedly, it's been corrected and that reservation has my name and my phone number. I really wasn't going to call again, but now I'm thinking...
 

Last October, the girl who made my dining reservations messed up two of my reservations. I wanted to cry!! I thought, it was really unfair. She made me a reservation for Chef Mickey's instead of Cape May for breakfast. We were going to MGM, so Chef Mickeys did not work for us at 7:30!! I think they need to check themselves a little more carefully. The CM says that is happens all the time, they hit the wrong key.
 
I had the CM check my phone number and name and she said nothing was there. I told her I would call back after researching more restaurants and called back hoping another CM might find something, but nothing was there. It's no big deal to me, but my father was looking forward to this as he loves the Boardwalk. Just another excuse to return next year ;)
 
do you have your adr confirmation number?? why wouldnt that prove your adr??
 
This could have to do with Disney's new policy where they cancel double-bookers.
I had my all my conf. #s and everything- all my ADRs were booked for months- and when I called to check on everything- my SCIFI ADR was missing. I gave them the conf# and she said - it had been cancelled- "By whom?" I asked. She said- "By you, of course." I told her that was a mistake. I did not cancel. She said it was completely overbooked so I was out of luck- I couldn't rebook. Then she said- "the good news is you have a reservation that same night at SCIFI at 7:00." She said my ressie had been cancelled when I made this new ADR at 7:00. But that is not my ADR! Now I was really confused. I did not make that ADR. Then she looked at it and it was a different person with the same last name. (unusual last name) UGH, frustrating. Now I am one TS ADR short for my trip and I my kids will be disappointed, especially my DS, who made this request. This was his special meal as DD gets CRT and our toddler gets the Playhouse Disney lunch. This was the one special thing for my 9 year old boy.
It really stinks that Disney implements a new policy and does not work out the bugs- and when they make a mistake that affects a guest they have no system in place to make it right. Just- sorry, too bad.
Oh well- life goes on.
 
We had a couple of ADR's missing as well, but the CM thought to check the spelling of our last name without the silent "e" on the end and was able to find the ressies. I know the CM's are very busy but I find it extremely frustrating to spell my name out correctly and still have them enter it wrong. I would like to say "Can you please confirm the way you spelled my last name?", but don't want to take up even more of their time or make them feel I'm questioning their abilities in anyway. I'll just make absolutely sure I hang on to the confirmation numbers!
