Called about the Dolphin renovations...

and they are complete with the first 5 floors and mid-way on the 6th. I also asked about the rumor that some of the CL rooms had been renovated out of order (bottom to top floors) and the Dolphin rep said "No" that they are all being renovated in order.

Sure seems the first 4 floors were done quickly and that 5 and 6 are taking a long time. Any ideas why?

Thanks for the update, Kapp! I'll be staying at the Dolphin for the first time in December, and I'm really looking forward to it.

Because I'm entirely unfamiliar with the Dolphin, I just requested a top floor when I made the reservation. Now I'm tempted to call back and ask for a renovated room, even though it will be on a lower floor. Those Heavenly Beds sound too good to pass up!

When are the renovations supposed to be completed? I have reservations at the Swan in June right now, but would rather stay at the Dolphin if the rooms are all done.
