Call with Rosie Carabbia

Hi again all!

DFTW emailed me saying they have arranged a telephone appointment between myself and Rosie Carabbia regarding floral etc.

Just wondering if this is about adding on extras to your package? Or something else?
I have sent back our BEO which states basic floral, basic cake, basic entertainment (violinist), we have literally added nothing extra on so i was a little confused what this call could be about? I thought most things were arranged through our wedding planner

Our wedding was 7 years ago, and obviously a lot has changed, but we did a very basic package, too (we did upgrade the cake and add beverages and chocolate favors, but that's about it), and I remember speaking with Rosie about the specifics of my bouquet and DH's bout. I also added a floral wand for my MOH and bouts and corsage for parents. It was a great call because I didn't like the "basic" bouquets and Rosie helped me to customize it a bit at no extra charge. She's a wonderful lady and I'm sure you'll enjoy speaking with her! I'm actually glad to see she's still with Disney!

I was getting abit concerned she would talk me into some extras that i would love but cant afford

She is clearly a very busy lady as the next telephone appointment we could get is 9th August! x

First - great date for your floral consult - my wedding anniversary

She won't push you for anything she just wants to make sure she understands what you want.

I added VERY minimal floral (a bridesmaid bouquet, a bout for the best man and a memorial arrangement that met my needs when I didn't even know what they were! She also asked about my dress and knowing the colour was much better able to match my dress with the flowers than if she had not known.

Cool, im looking forward to speaking with her. Cant believe its getting to the stage of sorting out little details now, i dont know where the time is going!

i just had my phone call with her recently.
we talked about floral mostly.
she will ask you about colors, trying to get specifics from you. she may make suggestions.
we also talked about photography because i wanted to switch out the photo package for an archival disc and pay the difference. you can tell her who your favorite photographers are at this point.

it was all not as stressful as i thought it would be. she's great.

Thanks for the info! I have picked the mussy tussy bouquet i actually thought it only came in the ivory colour, will be interesting to hear what other options there are

Rosie is really nice, she does ALL Escape brides so yes a very busy lady.
