So yesterday Jet Blue sent out an email with a mystery discount code. Each time I tried to check from the office the site was too slow, so I checked at home and one of the codes is a discount for 500 bucks. So what did I decide to do - book the 3 of us for a weekend in June when DD has a PA day. Friday to Sunday and we may not do parks just resort and it will cost us $175 return.

I even had to email my supervisor at this time to get her to approve the one day and she did. So here I go to book....fastest time I ever made up my mind, ever.

That's awesome! Good for you. Got the same email yesterday. Wife is a teacher so didn't work for us. We've talked about whipping down for Easter weekend some year. Usually the cost of flights makes it too costly. Isn't it cool and somewhat invigorating to make a decision like that. Kind of makes you nervous when you're making it but once it's done, it's done! Yahoo, you're going!

Funny. Glad we had points left on our DVC which we used. My colleagues was saying it's way better deal that GWL, which I have not gone yet. Funny thing is, just yesterday I was calling hotels in Ottawa to book a stay for a short trip and the hotels for one night was about the same as the fare. I will have to look on Hotwire for deals for Ottaw now.

That is awesome, we have looked at doing that in the past, just to get away. You will have a great time at the resort and hanging out in downtown disney! who says you need to spend tons of cash to enjoy yourself!

LOL, thanks xipetotec!!! I still can't believe I actually did it. Funny thing is I have thought of people as being 'crazy' before when I saw posts like 'Going to WDW for a weekend', and look what I did. In my defense though, the lowest air fare I have paid before is 59 bucks each way back in the day...this is way better

@ monkey30 - oh I'm sure it will be relaxing. One kid is already saying 'but I want to go on TOT', but I'm sure when she gets there she will forget about it. I just have to remind her that we are going back in August.
