Call from Member Services about complaint

Hello,
As some of you know, I was upset about the recent changes to the FP+ both the ability for offsite guests to book at 60 days and the club level 90 days. Mad enough to write to Member Services for the second time in 25 years.

The President called me the last time and we had quite the discussion about perception of the direction DVC was going. At that time, I was told it was the sentence about pool hopping that peaked their interest. I felt DVC wasn't special or valued anymore but sure enough my newsletter made a point of telling me which pools I couldn't use every single time. For THAT they had the time, energy and ink. Sad. They have been making an effort over the last few years. Maybe the lesson is we should take more time to give direct feedback?

Anyway, with so many spam callers, I dismissed the incoming as another AI trying to give me a free cruise. I noticed the 407 yesterday. They left me a voice mail with a name and number to call back. I will call back soon and report what I learn.

I wrote weeks ago and got a call back. I had noted with extending 60 day FP to other resorts, makes it that much harder for the prime FP and it waters down the value of staying at a disney resort.

The response was basically, the FP is only a trial to a few resorts, thank you sharing.
 
DVC doesn't have a president so who called you back? DVC doesn't have anything to do with fast passes so I am trying to understand who you talked to. Member Satisfaction will call you back and they say that they do report to upper levels. I went through years of passing my thoughts and frustrations up the line to DVC and Disney management after I learned which group does what within DVC and Disney. After a few years it became apparent that most communications don't go anywhere. Last month I shared a brief story about an exceptional CM with Iger, I got a reply email supposedly from him saying that he would reach out personally to the CM. To date the CM has never been contacted.

You sure about that? Ken Potrock is the head of DVC and his title is Vice-President and General Manager. Can't have a Vice-President without a President...I'm guessing here but Bob Iger is probably the President, only because he the president of everything else Disney.

My guess is that Potrock hasn't been promoted in title to president. Lewis had a president title over DVD/DVC before he was let go.

DVC- not Disney - it was when it was the woman. I thought her title was President. The person who is featured as the "head" of DVC when there is a change in leadership.
