Hi,
I have already booked my adrs, we are staying at the cr and now i'm thinking that i might like to have dinner or lunch at the cg. What is the chance of getting a walk up seating for dinner? Can you ring up from your room and try and book say the night before you want to go? Also, is it a nice place to eat? Would love to know. Thanks!

CG serves dinner only. If they had breakfast and lunch, I'd never leave the hotel.

CG is usually booked completely. Sometimes, early on a weekday (like 5:40p) you can get in.

You have a much better chance getting an ADR than walking up.

California Grill has the greatest food, atmosphere, and service at WDW. In fact, CG is my favorite restaurant in the world.

I agree with Natazu on all counts. (It's tied as a favorite with a couple others for me)

It is really worth making an ADR for. If you don't make one, you may not be able to get in. It's pretty popular.

If the restaurant is booked you can inquire about dining at the bar. If there is room they will let you. There is a dress code, and it's enforced.
