When do the schools in Calfornia have off for Springbreak next year?

I'm planning to go to Disneyland from March 10th-March 16th 2012. Since most of the southern states get off for Sprinbreak during this week as well, I want to avoid Orlando and Disney World due to the crowds. So, will this be a great week to visit Disneyland or not? Also, how is the weather usually during the month of March?

Thanks in Advance!

California Schools have breaks spread over a vast period of time. That is fairly early and a good time to go.

Just be aware that DCA will have a lot of work going on in the entry area. Also that that is the end of a general rehab period too.

Weather is pleasant. A little warm with cool evenings. It's mostly dry but can be very rainy as multiday storms can be passing through.

I live in Northern California and my kids' spring break is from March 26th - April 9th. We are actually planning a trip around the same time as you, because we are hoping for lower crowds.

I'm also in Northern California and it looks like we're out the 1st week of April for spring break.

True on all counts. Some districts are year 'round, which means they don't have a traditional spring break. The most popular is either the week before or the week after easter, but some districts have dropped that altogether and align spring break with the academic calendar, later in April.

We went from the 13th-17th of march this year and it was really busy, we came across a lot of people from AZ on spring break, I hope to go back next year and want to go earlier maybe February.
