California Schools and Furlough days

I just got a letter about our district taking some Friday's off for the remainder of the year.. So this means i can plan some quick trips to Disney!!!

elementary public school. and I've heard this may be spreading.. We are in San Jose Ca.

It's really terrible that schools have to do this.
but...... I wish they would up here so we can go
too! I have used all my DDs sick days and now have to get a doc note to get out of school yikes! But I do have an understanding pediatric doc woohoo!

OG School Disctrict.

It does suck but i'd much rather a furlough day than to lay off some teachers. They also agreed for 5 days less pay per year for the next 3 years. What a sacrafice! Sucks that California is so broke.

But i will definately make sure of my new premier annual passes and go more often then we normally do.
