California Residents - DLR Holiday Trip/Hotel Stay/Character Meal! CONTEST OVER!

I just wanted to give the California residents a heads up on this. There is a great contest to win a free DLR holiday trip for four people that is being held by the local Fox news channel (Good Day L.A. and Fox Overtime). Here is the link with all the info:

If you answer the trivia question correctly and they select your e-mail address (one entry per e-mail address), you win four 2-day Park Hoppers to DLR for this holiday season, one night at a DLR hotel (to be determined by Fox) and a character meal for Four people.

You're welcome! I will keep posting as I hear information (or anyone else please post if you hear something) - it should all become clear soon, as the holidays are here! They can't waste too much more time on the contest if they are giving away tickets and a hotel stay for the holiday season! I would imagine if it is not mentioned on Fox Overtime today, then it should probably be up on the MyFoxLA website tomorrow.

It is a great package to be won. All you have to do is answer the sports trivia question (hint: you can look up the answer to the question on the Internet) and enter your e-mail address ONCE. They don't count multiple entries. They will pick a winner tomorrow, then another one on the following Monday and then the final winner the following week.

Three winners will win Four 2-day Park Hoppers, a one-night stay at one of the three DLR hotels AND a free character meal for FOUR PEOPLE! That is a GREAT prize!!!!

Woo hoo! And you know, the more I read the fine print, I don't see anything that specifies Southern California. Did you see anything like that, Courtney? When I first heard about it on the news on Friday morning, it seemed SoCal-oriented, but now I don't think so. I think it is just California. I think I will change the thread title to California Residents rather than SoCal, so more people can have a chance to win! It is a good prize! Good luck, everyone!!!

I could have skipped something in the fine print on that page I posted the link for, but I don't see anything that clearly appears to rule out NorCal residents. Double check to be sure, but it looks like you can enter!

umm...i submitted for the disneyland trip and im so happy they are making it available for 3 different groups!!!!

there are bigger chances of winning because:
1) its only for california
2) not alot of people will even sign up for this
3) you had to answer the question right
4) it was super hard to find the website in the first place!!!!

You are right - the chances to win are increased because of those reasons you listed! I had a hard time finding that part of the website myself, and I was the one who started the thread about the contest in the first place! It was easy to get to MyFoxLA.com, obviously, but every time I went on there, I saw no indication of any kind of Disneyland contest! And they clearly said on Friday morning's news to check on that website for info. So, I forced myself to turn on Fox Overtime yesterday afternoon and finally someone referenced it and said it was trivia. And they said, "Check MyFoxLA.com." I went back to the site and still saw NOTHING! Why do they make it so hard to find? So I ultimately had to type in the search engine "Rick Garcia," because he is the guy we are supposed to "stump" with the trivia. When I put in his name, then something popped up that looked like it MAY lead me to the Disneyland contest. So I had to click on something else, and then click on yet another link and finally got to the page where it descibes the countest.

It was not an easy page to find - of course, I posted the link to it so hopefully everybody else can get to it with no trouble form now on. But that may deter people form entering, and they may not feel like looking up the trivia answers on the Web. We will see! Today is the first day they do a drawing for winners. Then, next Sunday there will be another Fox Overtime show n the local Fox channel, and another drawing, and then one more the following week and that is it!!!

Right! You only missed out on this week, but the next one you can do. They closed off this question answering period to draw the name, and then on this next Sunday night they will air another question on Fox Overtime, but you should be able to find the question on the website if you follow that link I posted. You can enter that one. And then there is the final question the week after that! So make a note to yourself to remember to check that website next Sunday night!
