California Rental Car info

I'm starting to gather information so we can rent a car on our return to the port. I'll post the info as I gather it. I contacted Hertz, Budget and Enterprise.

Hertz - you can take a cab to the Long Beach office - 555 E. Ocean Blvd. and they will reimburse you up to $10.

Budget price of $42.29 for 24 hours for a grand marquis.

Enterprise I e-mailed and will post back when I hear from them.

Hertz said they will reimburse you (I think up to $10) for cab fare if you are coming from the port. However, they will not reimburse you for cab fare if you are going to the port.

Budget has the same deal as Hertz - $10 for cab to their office. But their rates are better.

Enterprise wants to charge $40 to drop the car off at John Wayne (that's almost as much as the entire rental from Budget!)
