California Redwods

Planning a trip to the California Redwoods. For those whom have been there what did you enjoy or dis-liked about your visit?

Where specifically are you planning on going?

I loved it and its a lot of walking but really fun. The drive was a little curvy and made me car sick.

Note, they don't sell plastic water bottles there so we had to buy a metal one in the gift shop. They have plenty of places to fill it up and I don't remember they allow plastic bottles there or not though.

There's about 400 miles of coast redwood from barely into Oregon all the way down to Big Sur. Do you have a specific place you plan to visit? The tallest trees are on the North Coast around Redwood National and State Parks. There are some pretty large groves around the Santa Cruz area. Muir Woods NM is popular because it's close to San Francisco, although it has relatively small trees in comparison to other areas.

A little more specificity and I'm sure people will be able to give better advice.
