What a great restaurant!!!! We had a wonderful meal. The food is wonderful. Great wine list, even kid friendly. Our server brought DS's drinks in paper cups with lids, and you can color on the paper that covers the table cloth.
We had a window seat and could see the Epcot ball. At fireworks time, it is perfectly acceptable to leave your table and move to the lounge area to see (or go out on the observation deck).

I am sorry to admit that I didn't get back to the WL to change and was in my jeans   I was assured by the hostess that we were okay, and after I got into the restaurant, saw lots of Disney sweatshirts and jeans. I think they understand that people are coming from the parks.

If you want to eat here, make ressies. The place was packed on Thursday night!

CG is my new favorite restaurant at Disney--I can't believe I had never tried it!!!!

It's a great restaurant, isn't it. I dined there twice during our recent trip. What did you have?

I had the Pork Tenderloin with zinfandel sauce--it was fork tender and delicious!

DH had the free range chicken--also very delicious.

We had a squash soup with roasted pumpkin seeds that was out of this world.

We really wanted dessert, but DS (6 year old) was passed out on the booth seat by the end of the meal. We tend to go full force till we drop!

Our wine was also really good--a piot grigio from Italy.

I want to go back! If only I could learn to cook like that!

California Grill is one of my all-time favorites. Try Jiko's at AKL next time since you enjoy California Grille!
