California Grille Questions???/

Haven't been to the CG since it became CG. (Went many times as "Top of the World").

Food...I'm picky rest of the party is not (surprising BF and my parents with ressie)....how accomadating are they if I don't like a side or such?

Time...I want family to see "Wishes". Are all tables a decent view? (I will request at podium for window but I know not guaranteed.) Also, I booked for 8pm and "Wishes" is at 10pm...was that smart?

Opinions PLEASE???

Hello!

I think the timing sounds great. As for a table, we had one near the kitchen and really enjoyed watching the chefs make all the great food. THEN, we went out to the balcony to watch Wishes, complete with sound, and it was great! That was in February, and it was just a bit cold, but otherwise perfect. I found the window views to be a bit hard to see with glare, so remember that you can always go outside.

Our waiter's name was Ron, and he was the best waiter I have EVER had! He was very accomodating to our order, made recommendations, and even suggested the order our food come out. He also asked the kitchen to pause our order so that the "break" in food was timed with Wishes.

i second that, we also went out on the balcony to watch wishes and will be doing it again on our next trip, it was the best way to see them.

The service and food was superb - one of my fav places to eat at the world

I know about the balcony..only thing is the last time I went out there I had a panic attack (height issues) and just about had to be carried in by my dad!

I was also going to second the balcony - I would request the window, tell them you are willing to wait for a window view due to your height/ panic attack... I mean if you are willing to wait of course...
