California Grille Dresscode?

I remember reading somewhere that California Grille now has a dress code. Are jeans and a nice polo appropriate? I really don't want to bring slacks/khakis on our trip that begins tomorrow.

I personally would not wear jeans in CG but I bet people can get away with it. If I'm going there, I want my attire to match the service and food.

We were there in August and I saw one man in jeans seated at the bar with his family. Most were dressed in khakis/slacks.

it was very hot when we were there. I wore dress shorts with a polo shirt and there were many dressed like me

We have seen people dressed in jeans in all the signature restaurants we have eaten at, even though they all have the business casual dress code. In fact, jeans may be allowed under that dress code. I'm not completely sure, but I doubt anyone (CM's, managers, etc.) would say anything to a person in jeans.

Despite the "dress code", I often see people that didn't follow it. It appears that this is nothing more than a suggestion.

I didn't know about the dress code when I showed up there in May. I was wearing cargo shorts and a collar shirt. I had no problems. Many people were dressed as I was.

Jeans, dress shorts, t-shirts without offensive language/graphics and sneakers are allowed under the current dress code. In warmer weather khaki shorts and polos are common. In cooler weather jeans or khaki pants are common.

Yes, jeans are allowed but I don't think they are all that common except in really cool weather. At least that is the only time I've seen many people wear them.

But they are allowed.
