:goodvibes I have never been to the California Grill, but I am dying to eat there. I have a DS 8 and a DD 6, was wondering if there is a lot of other people eating there with their kids or is it more of and Adult meal? Thanks!

I have the same question! My nephews are 2 and 7 and I am afraid the place will be too stuffy for them. My husband is scared that we're going to get evil stares...he may be overreacting, or maybe not???

Lots of people with kids. Not stuffy. I would not take a two year old though as the meal itself is expensive and lengthy (easily one and a half hours - more likely two) - and I, myself (you can make your own decision) would not want to risk getting halfway through a $100 a person meal and having to finish it out of a styrofoam container because of meltdown. But a six year old can sit for two hours.

ETA: Kids are different. Both mine would NOT have made pleasant signature dining companions as toddlers, both have been capable of doing it since about five or six. We went with friends who had a seven and eight year old and ate at Flying Fish, it pains me to say it about friends, but neither the kids nor their mother were pleasant signature dining companions - we should have stuck to Spoodles.

I've taken my kids there several times, from the times they were babies to our upcoming trip. They are 9,7 and 5 now. They have always been good and have enjoyed the fireworks and the food. I usually bring an activity bag of coloring stuff or activities, so we can enjoy our meal as it is a longer food service. It has always been a great night. We have celebrated many special milestones there!

There will be plenty of kids there. We took ours twice in "05, and they were 13 and 8, and they both loved it. First time we went we forgot the camera, so we went back later the same trip ! Take the kids, they'll love it. And don't forget the camera !! Have fun !! :thumbsup2

It's very busy and noisy in the CG, lots of families, babies, kids. I think you would be fine with your kids :)

Thanks for all the replies. I am going to be making the ADRs this week! :cool1:
