I had a reservation at 7:10 pm and wishes was at 9 pm when we went in October. We got seated right away and did manage to stay around long enough to watch wishes. It really just depends on when they seat you and where you want to watch the fireworks from...if you get seated right away and want to watch from your table...I would just say eat slowly and mention to the waitor that you would like to be able to see wishes...and maybe they can space out the courses a little more. If you are going to watch from the balcony then you shouldn't have a problem if you finish a little early. We finished our desserts around 8:50 and so I ordered an amoretto sour and worked on the while we watched wishes from our table because we had a great view!. Though I was disppointed bc they did not turn down the lights or did not turn up the wishes music very much. If you would prefer to be eating dessert during wishes, like some people do, then that might be streching it...2 hours is a long time to sit at a table...plus for the servers less parties to serve, means less tips. Next time I am going to try to get something closer to 7:30 if I can. Last time 7:10 was all I could get though. Also one thing you can do if you do not wanted to be seated right away is ask for a window table. Last time we asked and they told us it would be a thirty minute wait, but we decided that we would just take any table and watch from the balcony outside. Even though they said it was 30 min wait for a window table they took us right up and sat us at I think what might have been the best window spot in the house! So if you feel like your reservation is too early and there is no wait for a regular table, you may want to ask about the window. You may not even have a wait for that but, perhaps they will wait to seat you so you do not have to drag everything out as much at the table.
