We went last year and they asked.
They explained that any of the signature dining will ask for a credit card. This is to prevent people for booking and not showing up or cancelling the
My personal opinion it probably should be done a little more. I know so many people who have made reservations or double book resturants since they are sure where they are going to be and then don't call and cancel.
It is getting harder and harder to get into places if you don't book months in advance.

Yes, they do...They won't chare your account unless you don't show for your reservation. The only other one I know that does that is CRT.![]()
We went in October and when I booked it I had to give my CC. After we got there we wanted to cancel it but it was 24 hours beforehand and they said they would charge us $20/person if we cancelled. So we sucked it up and went. The CM said we had to cancel within 48 hours to not be charged.
