We will be making reservations for the California Grill next August. We would like a table by the window to watch wishes (doesn't everyone). We do not mind waiting in the bar until a table becomes available. But I am not sure what time to make my reservations. I have heard dinner takes 2-2.5 hours. I am not sure if we will do a main course. The flatbreads, sushi, and desserts look so good, I might be making a meal out of them. We would like to be able to pick up our kids at Neverland Club by 11. Is 8 a good time or maybe 7:30?

You're right that many people ask for a window table. There's no way to reserve one in advance so you'll have to ask when you check in. Then the wait time will depend on how many people are waiting ahead of you. When we were there in October they quoted about 30 - 45 minutes.

There are a few window tables in the bar/waiting area. If one of these is open, you could just sit there and order from the full Cali Grill menu. The tables are smaller so best for 2 people.

If you're not seated at a window table, you can go outside on the deck and watch it from there.

As far as what time to make your reservation it depends on when Wishes is scheduled. I think I would try for about 90 minutes in advance. If you're absolutely set on a window table I think I'd plan for 2 hours (to allow for extra wait time.)

Thank you. We would really like a window seat, since we are staying at Bay Lake Towers and can get the deck view there. I just love the idea of eating with fireworks in the background. I will go for the earlier time.
