California Grill question:

I wonder what the general consensus is on Wolfgang's...? We do need a DTD night. Any suggestions?

I haven't been to Wolfgang's but we like Raglan Road for TS and Earl of Sandwich for CS. My niece and nephew think the Rainforest Cafe is the coolest thing ever. The food is okay but they just love all the animals in the restaurant. I don't remember when you're going but the new Rex Cafe (dinosaur restaurant) looks really cool esp for those boys that like that. My nephew really wants it to be open when we go next time.

We enjoy WP Cafe but go more often at lunch than dinner. There are outside tables that face the lake that are nice in warmer weather. It's more peaceful at lunch. We've usually had very good service there and the food has always been good. It's supposedly popular with locals so it's hopping at night.

We've really enjoyed the food at Raglan Road as well but our last 2 or 3 times there, service was incredibly slow so we skipped it last trip and don't have it planned for our next either. It is a very pretty restaurant though. If you go for dinner, it is much more quiet early.

I'm glad you're keeping CG. Bon apetit!

I do not travel with children so really do not have any suggestions for you on that front, but I did want to say that I greatly appreciate your thoughtfulness on the subject OP.

I will have to say that I loved Raglan Road back in May and it was a bit on the louder side so if your son does get a bit "active" it would not really be as noticeable as at some other places.

Aw, thanks LilyWDW. :)

And thank you too BCV23. You've been very helpful in this thread.

I'm gonna have to go google Raglan Road now.

You said your DS was 6 have you thought about one of the kids clubs My DS loved the Neverland Club at The Poly when he was four. I mean when someone would ask him about the trip that is what he brought up 1st. Free video games buffett, kids & charaters somethimes stop by.

Thanks Kae, I have thought about it. I might do it for an afternoon only so he can meet some kids and maybe I'll shop. But for a meal...I just feel like I want him to be there.
