california grill or yachtsman

Ok..help deciding..
On the dining plan and both places take two credits,
which would you choose?

Never been to Yachtsman, but CG is fantastic. The whole dinner at CG is great. The view, the food, the service, Wishes, it's just a great experience.

Never been to Yachtsman either but we have done the CG two times and enjoyed it. Definatly worth the two points. Especially if you go for wishes it has a great view.

We have been to Yachtsman Steakhouse every single trip since they opened and would not dream of missing it. We went to Calif. Grill once. The food was good, but we are in no rush to go back.

Cali Grill hands down

Have been to both....YSH was a big disappointment. GC is always excellent in every way...food, service, view (with or without fireworks) cocktails, wine...just to go out on the observation deck is great. CG is a must do for us, we love it so much we sometimes go twice per visit.

We usually do OK when we make ADR's for about an hour before fireworks time. Almost always the fireworks begin at some point during the meal--we get up, walk out on the observation deck, enjoy the show--then walk back and resume the meal.

If your goal is to have a great meal with great service, I would certainly recommend against California Grill. If your goal is to spend a lot to see fireworks, then it is a good choice. Given that I am more interested in eating a good meal with good service, I would go for Yachtsman Steakhouse.

California Grill. We had a great meal with EXCELLENT service.

If you want to see Wishes, try for a reservation about 1 1/2 hours before the start.
