California Grill or Narcoossee's?

We (DH, DS15, and I) are hoping to enjoy one nice dinner & fireworks. Which do you think is best, California Grill or Narcoossee's? We all love seafood, especially sushi, and we'll be there on the dining plan.

Or should we just go for 2 separate sit-down dinners?

We love the CG. There service and food were much better than Narcoossee's. Had the surf and turf at Narcoosee's. The lobster was just okay. No taste to it. The food at CG has so tasty. The serivce was superior to the service we had at Narcoossee's.

To my family, it is worth the two table service meals. We actually have a ADR for July at the CG.

We also prefer Ca Grill over Narcoosees by quite a bit. We've always found the sushi at CG to be pretty good.

My DH and I had Narcoossee's in January. Just okay, not worth 2 table service. We did have a table right next to the window but still not worth it.

Narcoossee's is our favorite restaurant at Disney. We used to like Yatchmans, but after they changed the menu about 4 years ago, was not as good. California grill was just ok for us. Narcoossee's has been the most consistant, and also have great surf and turf.

I haven't been to CG yet, but we did have an outstanding meal at Narcoosees on Thursday. It ranks among the best meals we've ever had at WDW over 13 gluttonous trips.

My DH and I had Narcoossee's in January. Just okay, not worth 2 table service. We did have a table right next to the window but still not worth it.

I completely agree with this. We were so excited about Narcoosees and were willing to use 2 ts for it. However, we were really disappointed with our dinner. Cooked wrong and sent out warm, not hot and really not that good. We are not exactly picky diners either. We love to try new restaurants and appreciate good food and service. When we asked to try and have one of the dinners removed from the check (it was uneaten) the manager came over and was anything BUT cooperative. Would only agree to give us back one TS credit and that was like pulling teeth.
California Grill was an awesome experience. Great food (we had steak and sushi), fantastic service and a wonderful view. The wine menu is amazing also. It was so good that we are actually staying at Contemporary in Sept. Looking forward to the fireworks on the deck and their unbelievable desserts.

My vote would be for CG all the way. They have really good sushi there and itsw a must-do dinner for us each trip. Narcoossee's is good, but nothing special IMO.

I posted a poll similar to yours last week, except the choices were Cali Grill, Narcoossee's or Yachtsman. You might be interested to know that Cali Grill won hands down & it's where I'm planning my ADR.

California Grill for the excellent food (my favorite sushi at WDW) and the incredible view.
