Hello,
I realize this will be subjective, just looking for help to decide...

Going in November for our 15th Wedding Anniversary, only staying three nights. Planning on ONE park day, hopping.
The other park day I can't decide on eating dinner at California Grill, seeing the MVMCP fireworks from there (we have never eaten there) OR going to the party. Can only do one as both will end up costing about the same, $150. We have gone to MVMCP back in 2008. However, husband hasn't been to MK in a while. We will have our vehicle, so planning on utilizing that for transportation to parks and walking between EP and HS. Staying at FW.

So it's either:
Thursday: EP - tackle one half of WS for Food & Wine, hop to HS and use FP+, end with EP to take in other half of WS for Food and Wine.
Friday: Relax all morning, go to MK for party
.
OR
Thursday: Rope drop MK (hopefully getting BOG breakfast), only stay for couple hours, hop to EP - half of World Showcase, hop to HS and use FP+, hop back to EP for other half of World Showcase.
Friday: Relax all morning, do monorail loop hitting Trader Sam's, then bar at GF, then California Grill for dinner at 7:20 and watch fireworks
.

Just curious as to what others would choose, and why. Thanks! This indecision is driving me nuts!:crazy2:

We ate at Cg last trip for our anniversary. It was nice, but I'd totally pick a Party over it. That said we split our meal and didn't spend thaaat much

That's easy...I'd go to the party over CG. I'm sure there are nice places to eat dinner back at home...

I was factoring around $150 because looking over the menu we will both want the filet, drinks and probably share a dessert, and tip...thought about splitting filet to keep cost down, hmm..i guess it's more about the experience, though, because we have never eaten there and it gets such good reviews...

Lol, this is what my sister said...

Thanks! Keep them coming!

If you were asking me MNSSHP over CG, I'd say MNSSHP but personally I'd do CG over the Christmas one. If you time your reservation at CG right so that you are seated and order right before the fireworks it's an amazing experience. The wife and I love that experience so much at this Sept. will be our third year celebrating our anniversary night at CG while watching the fireworks. Last year I made sure to tell them at check in that it was our anniversary and that we didn't mind waiting a little bit longer for a table with an amazing view (they said they couldn't make any promises) and they delivered. I don't normally eat at "fancy" places but they've not disappointed me yet.

California Grill is an elegant adult Disney experience. The Christmas Party is for "kids of all ages."

Are you looking to satisfy your sophisticated side or your inner child side?

That will help you decide.

Well to me the red option looks better regardless. That would be my vote especially for an anniversary trip. MVMCP is ok but its nothing special and I'd rather spend the money on a good meal and some drinks.
