Where do you think would be better and where is the food better.I originally had chefs de france cause I wanted to try something different but then somebody told my fiance we should go to cali grill that night so we can watch the fireworks as well,we couldn't get an ADR for the time the firreworks would be going on.

If any of you have any other suggestions it would be great! Thank you.

Cal. Grill but tell them it is your wedding day! The View is amazing and so is the food! Ask for a window and a quiet-er table! Congratulations!

While I like Califorina Grill- my vote goes to Bistro over Chefs of France ( i know that was not one of your original options!)

Personally if it was just me and DH on our wedding day I'd go to Victoria and Albert's for a deluxe meal since it is such a special day and should be a special meal. You should even get the GF bakers to make you a small wedding cake to celebrate.

I second the Bistro de Paris (instead of Chefs de France). Much quieter than Calif Grille, and you can see Illuminations. We had a 7:30 reservation and easily made the fireworks. Fabulous food.

Victoria and Alberts is also an excellent choice. And you'd have the personalized menus as special mementos.

I agree with PP's. Both Ca Grill and Chefs de France are incredibly noisy and active places. Not at all romantic. Our most recent trip 3 weeks ago, Ca Grill was so busy that we had to wait an hour past our ADR for the next available table. And this is in January, the slowest month of the year there. The lounge area is very small and also very noisy and many people have to stand along the wall waiting for their tables.

I would go with Bistro upstairs also. Tell them it's your wedding and request a window seat. This place is small and intimate, doesn't take the dining plan so it's usually less busy. The tables along the windows look out over the world showcase. The food and service here is more upscale and superior to most places at WDW.

However, if your heart is set on one of the two you asked about, Ca Grill has much better food than Chefs.

I have never been to Bistro... But I have been to Cali Grill. The food was outstanding, the service was amazing but... It was loud, there were a ton of kids there, despite the dress code it felt very informal (the rest of the folks in the restaurant, not the menu). The fireworks viewing was nice, but not an experience that I would go back there for specifically. I will go back there, but for the food and service.

My understanding is that Bistro is very nice and quiet. They do not have a kids menu, so it is clearly geared towards adults. It is what I would choose between those two options for my wedding day.

V&A is amazing, I am assuming you do not want to go there, because it was not an option for you. It IS an amazing experience, but it is also very expensive, and very time consuming. You will easily spend 150 more here than at your other options.

Good luck with your decision. I think that it will be an amazing dinner, if for no reason other than that it will be with your new husband!

Thank you soo much for the input!!! Now I am going to choose between V and A or Bistro :) ...I am leaning toward Bistro,I like the idea of being able to see Illuminations!!

Ok I just looked at both menus and nothing appeals to me lol.I forgot to mention that I can be a little picky lol.Hmm any other suggestions. Do any other resorts have nice and quiet restaurants?

Ok I just googled some of food on the menu of Bistro and it looks good so I am going to go with Bistro..I never heard of like anything on that menu so I guess that's why I thought it sounded gross haha!!

I have never been to the other rest. but we just got back from disney and our first night we ate at the cal. grill. I must say that was the best filet mignon I had ever eaten. We were able to see the fireworks from Magic kingdom. The service is excellant and so was the dessert. My husband had the grilled pork tenderloin he said it was good also.

We loved Bistro when we went for our anniversary a few years ago. We ate at Citricos after our wedding (it was Flagler's at the time). Narcoosee's is also a nice choice for a romantic meal with fireworks view.

Bistro would be my first choice, but you might want to try a few of the others. Indulge a little since it's your honeymoon. Congratualtions!:bride:
