California Grill Noise Level

LOUD LOUD LOUD....the place is a zoo but I like the food and sour dough bread.....yum! Sushi there is the best! Do not go there for a romantic meal unless your idea of romance is asking what the other person said every two seconds.

Strange! We've dined there several times and have never gotten the impression of it being loud. It's not especially quiet (open kitchen) but I wouldn't call it a "marching band." We love CG!

This is my experience as well.

IT's pretty loud given that it's almost always full and they have that open kitchen. The # of kids there also contributes. I should say that once the fireworks are over the place does quiet down a lot. And I also should say the noise level isn't bad enough to actually ruin a meal. We eat there our first night every trip (and will be there again on May 1).
And about the 'Wine Room"-it is away from the main area and the open kitchen, but it is NOT adults only or always kid free. The last time we had dinner in there there was a table of about 20 people, about half of whom seemed to be kids. They were very loud---

It's pretty loud. It is not a romantic dining location at all. Fun? Yes. Worth doing at least once in a while? Yes. Good view? If there aren't too many people in your way (or standing up at their table in front of you during the fireworks like @#$%'s).

There are far better places on WDW property for a more quiet, romantic dinner for two...

If Cali Grill were on the ground floor it would not be nearly as popular - it would fall into the "What is Citrico's?" category.
