Hey guys, I've never been to California grill and was just wondering how long an average meal there takes? I don't mind leaving the park for dinner but we want to be able to make it back in before wishes begins.

Unless you're just wanting to see Wishes from within the park (which has its benefits, too), you can see them from CG. They pipe in the music, and you can watch from inside the restaurant or outside on a terrace. We intentionally time our CG ADRs to match up with Wishes.

That's what we do! We will be doing it on Tuesday for our 26th wedding anniversary.... now back to the OP. The timing for a meal is very subjective. If you are going soup to nuts that's going to take a lot more then just going for just the main course. Soup to nuts I'd give it an hour and 1/2 but don't forget to give yourself enough time to get back to MK. It will help if you tell them when you want to be done with your meal. When wanting to watch Wishes from the rooftop all you have to do is tell them that you want to see the fireworks and they will time your meal accordingly. If you are going to take the time to eat such a lovely meal I would make my ADR around 6. This way you can enjoy the meal then get back to MK to enjoy the show.
