California Grill in September

I hope the experienced Dis'sers can help me with this one...We're planning to go to the California grill in mid-September so we can catch the Wishes fireworks. As someone mentioned before, the hours for the parks aren't displayed until 2 months before while you can get reservations 3 months ahead. As I've never been to WDW in September, what do you Dis'sers suggest we make our reservations? 6pm? 7pm? 8pm? I just can't seem to tell based on old hours what might be the closing time.

We're planning for Sept 18 or 25.

I thinking wishes will either be at 8 or 9 that time of year.
We went in January and I believe Wishes was at 7?

I would make your PS for 7/7:30.

Our PS was for 5...and our waiter stretched out the meal...our entrees didn't come until wishes started - right at 7...it was LONG but yummy meal.

most waiters will stretch out meals to accomodate Wishes. (plus - ordering drinks/appetizers/entrees/dessert/coffee will be a pretty long meal in itself! heheh)

7:00 sounds about right. And if things do commenece in the middle of your meal, not to worry. Service is simply put on hold during the fireworks.

Ron S. was our server - great guy! Was fantastic the entire night!

There is on dessert - some chocolate lava thing (I forget the name) that you have to order at the begining of your meal because it takes a half hour to make. It's so stinkin' yummy!

Also - do a Sat night reservation. In Sept, Wishes is sometimes only shown on weekends. During the week, the park closes at 6 or 7pm.

They will also cover your food to keep it warm.
