California Grill for Wedding Anniversary

I lucked out and just got a reservation for California Grill in early June for 7:30. What are the odds I could get a window seat with a view of the castle? Wishes is not until 10 so we will probably watch the fireworks from the observation deck. If I call and have them note our anniversary on the reservation would it make any difference?

We had dual bday celebrations noted on our adr last summer and they didn't do a thing. Don't get me wrong- we LOVED the meal and had amazing service. We just got 0 bday recognition. You may want to just ask about a window table when you check in and try and check in on the early side. We were seated one row off from the windows and still had a view of the castle- but definitely not as nice as it would have been to be right on the windows; however, our focus was more on Wishes from our table...which was great.

When you check in the CMs will ask if you're celebrating anything, Or you can let them know at that time. We had Mickey confetti sprinkled on our table and a congratulatory dessert.

I was just there Monday night and they did the same thing for me for my college graduation. The dessert was a slice of wonderful chocolate cake; unfortunately, our waiter didn't bring it out until I had ordered another dessert.

There were a lot of tables with the Mickey confetti on them, so I think it's going to be luck of the draw on whether you get a window seat or not. Many people choose CG as their celebration restaurant.
