California Grill for fireworks?

Hi all - we're heading down in May (19th-25th) and my parents would really like to eat at CG and catch the fireworks. Right now I've got them a 9:25 reservation on the 20th and I believe the fireworks are at 9:00. I can get them a 9:30 reservation on the 23rd when the fireworks are at 10:00. Which is the better option??

Hey- I just went to CG during our January trip and we had the most wonderful fireworks experience. I know I wrote down the times and all that in my TR but I can't remember off the top of my head what times worked for us. I would check it out if you have a moment. All I remember is we arrived a few minutes early, were seated immediately at the best table in the house... we opted to have appetizers, watch fireworks, then return to our table for the main course!

It was simply the best night of my life and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!!

We prefer to have our ADR time prior to fireworks. That way we know we will be up there at light dimming. I wouldn't want to have to arrive early then wait extra for the fireworks then again as I wait for my table. Just my preference.

Also there is limited room up there so there could be a delay in getting in the elevator for the ride up.

9:30 reservation on the 23rd when the fireworks are at 10:00.

It's better to be already seated. the kitchen and server will then time your drinks, apps, meal, desert to the fireworks. they do an awesome job of it.if your reservation is at 9:30 and the fireworks are at 9:00, you will be part of the mad throngs wanting to go upstairs to see. depending on your timing, the desk may not let you up.

I agree with the other posters. Try to get a seating before the fireworks!
