California Grill for Fireworks show?

Is this worth it? trying to set up my ADRs wondering if this should be one of them. Will be going around 9/24-9/30

I love the CG during fireworks! The view is spectacular. I think it's really magical, much better than watching in the park actually IMO because you're not packed like a sardine in a crowd of people. I've done dinner there twice during fireworks and the food was great on both occasions. For me, yes it's worth it!

We love it. Great food, and they will schedule your food around a break for the fireworks, so you can get appetizers before the fireworks and have your entree after.

I think the most important consideration for you should be the menu. Does the food appeal to you? It is an expensive Signature dining experience - not a fireworks viewing show. But because of the view it does have very many families, with young children. It tends to be a bit chaotic and it can be very loud.
It is very nice.
But many, many folks believe the best place to view Wishes is from inside the park. The view from the California Grille is skewed to the side, and the fireworks are off center of the Castle.

I think it's a fun thing to do at least once. The view of the fireworks is better in the parks, I agree. You don't have to order 3 courses and spend a ton of money. You could go for drinks when they open, save your receipt, and come back later to watch the fireworks, or make your adr for dessert, or apps and drinks, etc. I would look at the menu and see what you would order and see if that price would be worth it to you.

We have been to California Grill on our past three visits to Disney World. Will be going again next week. The food and service has always been exceptional. Each time we scheduled 180 to 90 days in advance to get a table for 8:15 to 8:30 pm. Not our usually dinner time, but for this one night, we dine late. Our reservation time seems to work for 9pm, 9:30 pm and even 10pm fireworks. We have enjoyed the fireworks from the restaurant and the outside walk ways. IMO, Seems so special to see the fireworks without people breathing down your back (as in the park atmosphere).
