California Grill/Fireworks question...

Does anyone know if it's possible to just go up to the lounge at the California Grill for a drink during the Wishes fireworks? I will be there this weekend, can't get a dinner reservation, but would love to see the show from there. (I have eaten there before, my favorite place at WDW!) Thanks.....

Yes and no. If there are seats avilable in the bar area, then you will escorted up. Otherwise you will be told that it is full, and you can either choose to wait and see if a seat opens, or view from the 4th floor.

We were there on 9-18 and they were turning people away at the sign-in desk downstairs telling them there was no room in the bar area and you had to have a PS to go up.
