What do people usually wear to the signature restaurants? I have an ADR at 5:45 for Cali Grill on the day im going to the Magic Kingdom, i figured i would be in the park all day and will go to dinner and hop back into the park for fireworks.

My question is what do people wear to the signature restaurants when they are in the parks all day? im usually a shorts and a tshirt type of person. Should i plan on bringing a pair of pants and a shirt in the car and stop by and change before dinner? I have found that most meals at disney are pretty casual, but I dont want to look out of place

You'll see everything from ties and dresses to park attire. All of it is OK with Disney. They have only a very short list of prohibited clothing.

Only Victoria & Albert's enforces their dress code. Everywhere else, as long as you're not in a swimsuit or tank top and have money, they'll welcome you with open arms.

Thank you, i think ill go to the park in kahki shorts and throw a polo in my backpack to keep it clean for dinner. My wife will probably be okay wearing a dress for the day.

Is dress code at CG still the same for dinner? DH who is not a dress-up guy would want to wear a polo shirt and a pair of khaki shorts. DD10 and I will wear a casual dress while DS6 will wear something clean. Hope that's acceptable and respectful to other customers there......

DH and I ate there for the first time last year. I wore a knit dress and he wore khaki shorts and a Hawaiian shirt. We didn’t feel under dressed at all.

When we dine at CG, we usually go back to our room and clean up before going there. Usually khakis and a polo shirt is more than adequate.
You will see some really dressed up to shorts and t-shirts. They have a limited dress code. I've seen some who push the limits, so not sure how strict they are in enforcing it.

DH wore a nice pair of khaki shorts and a polo, I wore a dressy top and nice shorts.

We felt completely comfortable. As others stated, you can dress way up if you want, but it's not necessary.
