California Grill -- Do the men need a tie?

I know there is a "dress code". I have some nice outfits picked out. No ties. Should I bring one for the Cali Grill?

No. We just dined there this past Thanksgiving. DH wore khakis and a polo.

Absolutely not. While I have seen ties there around the holidays, this is a rarity.

When my husband and I ate there for the first time over twenty years ago, they required a tie and jacket. They offered to loan him a jacket. He said, "No thanks." Being an officer in the Navy at that time (fought in the Gulf War under the FIRST Bush who got us into a war), he donned his choker whites. He looked great and we had a wonderful time! Now we are returning again for our 25th anniversary. I understand now all you have to do is refrain from shorts and flip-flops...LOL!... We might even wear jeans as we are packing lightly. Can't wait!
