In case we don't get lucky with reservations, I was wondering how much of the main dining room menu the lounge/bar will serve, if any. Would it be inappropriate to have a full meal there? Is the seating first come first served? In another post someone mentioned it is always very crowded in the lounge area, would it be totally annoying to eat there or mildly annoying?

I'm gonna call every day before our trip, but I hope to have a back up plan. Thanks for any info you have.

They serve the full menu. The seating is indeed first come, first served and there's limited seating - the lounge area is small. Many of those sitting there are waiting for a table and will get up and move when their table becomes available. I wouldn't hold my breath about getting a seat there within an hour to a half hour of the fireworks at MK.

We have eaten in the lounge area before. We had a reservation and of course, there were a lot of squatters that evening. We had a full dinner, in the lounge area, watched the fireworks and it was just fine.

That's great news. It's the one place my boyfriend was adamant about dining at this vacation. Great tip about the difficulty of finding a table around the time of the fireworks display.

Thanks for the feedback.

Should also add that w/o reservations, the may not let you up to the bar or lounge if they are full. And most evenings anywhere near fireworks time, the bar and longe are full of squatters who have been there for hours waiting for the fireworks (or, in some cases, for their table).
