Are the flatbreads & tuna included as an appetizer when using the dining plan?

Yes. On the DxDDP the flatbreads, tuna, first courses and all of the sushi except the 2 most expensive (Yoshi's Platter and Dragon Roll) can be ordered an appetizer. The 2 most expensive sushi can be ordered as entrees.

hopefully you are aware Cali Grill is closing in Jan 2013 for refurb till end of summer...

Yup! Aware of the refurb. We'll be there in October. Our first time! I did not know that apps were not included with DP though. Thank you for mentioning that!!! Luckily I only have 3 dinners booked where I would be able to get apps (the rest are buffets) so I might just pay OOP for those.

Actually you can get Yoshi's Platter and Dragon Roll if you do them as an app for 2 ppl. At least that is what DH and I did this past April.

Interesting, our server definitely said it could only be an entree last year.
