California Grill and fireworks at 6

Has anyone had an ADR for California Grill when the fireworks are at 6. We have an ADR at 6:05. Will we be able to see the fireworks? Will it be too light outside for fireworks? Thanks for you help!

Maybe I am wrong about the fireworks. I thought I had read somewhere that the fireworks on that night were at 6, but it does not say that on the disney website. It is a MVMCP night. What time are the fireworks usually on a MVMCP night. Do they have fireworks before MK closes and the party begins?

There are no regular fireworks on the nights that the park closes to the general public. The party fireworks are at 9 or 10pm the nights of those parties.

This happened to me for my upcoming Nov trip. The DIS website for parade/fireworks times posted Wishes at 6 pm. I was planning on making a ressie for CG to see the fireworks. DH mentioned that they could not do fireworks during the daylight. When I called dining to check availability for CG, I asked them when Wishes was scheduled. They checked and said that it will be the special Wishes for MVMCP and scheduled for 9:30 pm that night. If I were you, I would check with Dining or Guest relations to get an accurate time. Hope this helps.

The use to have regular fireworks at 6:00 pm on the nights that MVMCP was held, but this year they are not. When Decembers hours first came out I think that Wishes was on the schedule, then they made some changes and eliminated them.
It is usually dark enough by 6:00 to hold them, it starts to get dark around 4:30 or so...at least it has when I've been the first week of December.

The party fireworks are at 9 or 10pm the nights of those parties.

The fireworks during any hard ticket event at the Magic Kingdom always happen at 9:30 PM.

Hi Folks,

In 2006 and 2007, the MK had wishes at 6pm on christmas party nights, at least during the first week of december (might not be the same in november). It is dark enough at that time to pull them off. I wouldn't be surprised to see them do the same this year (nor would I be surprised that they don't to save money).

With your 6:05 ADR, just check in at the podium at around 5:30, hopefully they'll let you up and you can hang out on the deck until your table is ready.

Thanks for the replies. I changed our ADR to 7:20pm. I hope that will work with the fireworks at 9:30.

We were at California Grill last February and they let us go up about 15 minutes early for our reservation. They have an outdoor observation deck you can go out on with views all around, not just MK.
By the way, our dinner was great but very $$$.
