California Grill and Disney Quest for 5 year old?

I really want to try the California Grill on our next trip and I wanted to know if anyone has experience with taking a 5 year old along. I read that CG is pretty loud and that they let kids draw on the paper table coverings with crayons so I though that my DD would be OK in there even if she gets a little boisterous. We also are going to purchase the water parks and more passes and I wondered if my DD would like going to Disney Quest one night so that we don't OD on the water parks. My DD loves Chuckee Cheese and arcades so I thought that she might enjoy Disney Quest.

We had dinner at CG with my 5 year olds in November. That saying they are used to eating in restaurants, and usually behave well. I found CG very kid friendly. (drawing on the tables and all) and if you scheduled dinner during the fire works the view is spectacular! They love DQ.

Disney Quest is nothing like Chuckie Cheese. Your 5 yr old will have a hard time finding anything that she can do.

I hadn't heard that much about CG, just expected there to be no kids there. I made a trip in Feb w/o my two 5 year olds, and went to CG with my Mom. I was actually shocked at how casual/loud/chaotic it was. I saw tons of kids, and one family with teens was leaving and they were drssed very casually, flip-flops and all. Now that I've been there and seen the atmoshpere, I would not hesitate to bring my kids there (if I did go back at all; I wasn't all that impressed....)
