California Grill ADR during MVMCP

We have an ADR for 8:00 California Grill during a MVMCP night, will this be a good time to see the fireworks at MK? We were hoping to time it right, but I'm not sure what time the fireworks are. And what has been your experience with requesting a window table? We are celebrating our 5 year anniversary (it actually just passed, but we decided to have our dinner celebration in disney ), do you think our chances would be better of a window seat if we mentioned this?? Thanks!

This is probably perfect as you will probably have to wait past your 8:00 reservation to get a window seat (not guaranteed). We did this a few years ago during MVMCP and it was a highlight of the trip (the meal wasnt our best, but the service, view and conversation was fantastic!) It was my birthday and I mentioned that when making the reservation and they brought me a piece of cake.

I would certainly mention the anniversary--but as kathymc says, you may have to wait a bit. And sometimes it just isn't possible.
