Is it worth it and how is the hotel? What is the best ride? Grizzly canyon?:lmao:

Ha Ha! I'll play...

My family has not had the resources to spend at the hotel, but walk through the lobby and it is quite lovely.

We like the park. The bug area is great for youngsters, we like the shows and animation stuff. My hubby and oldest love the rides. They love Screamin. We all love Sourin, and we are all fans of Grizzly River Run.

My favorite rides at CDP are:
-Screaming roller coaster ride
-Soaring Hanglider ride
-Hotel Dropper ride
-Grizzly Canyon (of course)
-Woody, Buzz, Green Men, Bo Peep, Rex, Hamm, Little Green Army Men, and other assorted Toy Story character shooty 3d glasses ride
and Monster Movie ride

and some of the rides that aren't so great are:
-Silver Spaceships over the lake ride
-Bouncy blasty tower
and Jellyfish mini bouncy blasty tower

Is it worth it? Maybe, it depends on if the Parade of Lights or the play/songs about Aladdin are showing.

:rotfl2: omg im glad i didnt have any drink in my mouth when I read this oh and I hate the orange swinger ride

Oh, and I don't recommend the Solar Circle, especially with the slidey baskets.

Malibomber is fun if you have the guts for it. :ssst: What? No barfin smilies?

Calif. Dream park, I like that name, but the actual name of the park is Disney's California Adventure, just an fyi.

Haha- thanks GalDisney....

I was racking my brain trying to figure out of they put a DCA somewhere else! I knew I would have read it somewhere by now!

Personally I love California Adventure. I go in midday to get away from the crowds at Disneyland, so I can eat lunch without waiting an hour in line!

Definitely ride the Maliboomer before they take it away. The launch is amazingly fast and the line is always short because it scares people (even though it's not that bad). Tower of Terror is similar, but a longer ride with a more intense feeling when you fall.
California Screamin' is an excellent coaster, decently fast and has on-board music. It's amazingly fun and worth up to like 45 minutes wait. Get FP's for it as much as possible, and ride it at night if it doesn't break down because it's double the fun!

The Sun Wheel scares me, personally. Might be fun if you aren't afraid of heights and enjoy the feeling of a constant car accident, ahah. When that cart starts moving I look for anything and everything to hold onto while I scream!

Most of the other rides are pretty fun too. People love Soarin' and Grizzly River Run, but I'm not as big on those. The Electrical Lights Parade is awesome and the Aladdin show is the best!
If you like Universal Studios, I think you'd enjoy California Adventure.

My advice is not to take a whole day with tickets just for California Adventure. Take a day or two to park hop over to it so you aren't stuck there if you don't like it.

I love how some people are taking this thread seriously. :lmao:
