This is our first trip to CA. Is it possible to see it all in 4 hours on a Wednesday afternoon? We'll arrive around 2:00 in the afternoon and the park closes at 6:00 p.m. How are the lines? We'll have unlimited fast pass. We are also spending Thursday and Saturday at DL and hopping between the two, but we'd like to see as much as we can on Wednesday. Where should we go first?

You will probably need more then 4 hours but don't forget these highlights.

Not to be missed (IMO)
Soarin'
Screamin'
Grizzly
Animation Building
Golden Dreams
Aladdin Stage Show in the Hyperion Theatre (haven't seen it but it is suppose to be really good)

And don't forget to go to the Mission Tortilla Factory and the Boundin Bread Factory for the free samples YUMMY!

I would walk into the park and get a FP for soaring, and build my time around it !

I agree, FP Soarin & check out Aladdin show schedule. The Aladdin show will take up some time waiting & it is located in the very corner so It may be tough to fit this in. I would go to the Pier and FP Screamin, with the multiple FP option & if everyone does not want to ride screamin make sure you get a FP with their ticket we were able to ride three times in a row! I would do the
Grizzly last in case you get wet. IMO a Bugs Life is for small children. One thing to keep in mind after you ride Soarin, look around at everyone exiting & see how big the smile on their face is! Great Ride.

Grizzly is a rafting ride, we get SOAKED!! It's great in the heat but really uncomforatable walking around in wet clothes, especially when it's breezy, like it is in the Spring when you'll be there.

I agree with Christa - those are the highlights and the Aladdin show is great!!!! :D We couldn't see all of Ca Adventure in an entire day but you'll be able to get a taste of how fun it is ;) Enjoy!!!! And dont miss Soarin, ok?

Thanks for all the replies. :D Great advice! We'll hit the highlights first and see the rest on Saturday. I'm looking forward to Soarin', I've heard a lot about it. The kids will definitley do 'Screamin so maybe we will get FP and do that twice, and Tough to be a Bug (one of their fav's at WDW). Tortillas and Bread! I'm always up for free samples ;) so that one is a must! We'll hit Grizzly right before we head back to the hotel. Thanks so much for all your help. How is Millionaire? We will probably do this on Saturday, but I don't want the kids to be bored. Also, what about crowds. The guy at our hotel said DCA is NEVER croweded. Is that true?

Thanks again!

The guy at our hotel said DCA is NEVER croweded. Is that true?

No. It's true that DCA often does not get as crowded as Disneyland, but it can get crowded. I've seen Fastpasses gone for Soarin' by noon and waits of over an hour. California Screamin' and Grizzly River Rapids can also get busy in the middle of the day. That being said, we haven't had to wait more than 45 minutes for anything (in early June).

Because DCA was built with bigger walkways that can easily accomodate crowds, it always appears less congested than Disneyland; but if you doubt the crowds, wait until the MSEP! People really come out of the woodwork to see it, and it's mass exodus after it's over!

DO NOT MISS:

SOARIN
CAL SCREAMIN
ALLADIN
MILLIONAIRE

and have a blast! it is a great park--just needs to get a few more years under it's belt and it will be spectacular!
